TITLE: Childcare Assistant

CLASSIFICATION: 1- Part-time job 20- 25 hours a week, Monday through Friday, (5 days a week) hours may change with the demand of the children's needs. Alternating shifts between 7:50 am to 4:15 pm. Starting Pay is $17.25 per hour.

Example: you would have the opening shift on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Tuesday, Thursday you would close. The opening shift is from 8:15am to 1pm and Closing shift is 10:00 am to 4:00pm. The following week your shift would be: you closed Monday , Wednesday , Friday and open shift on Tuesday, Thursday. Also from time to time be available during hours of operation if other employees or myself become sick . Will discuss the schedule over an interview.

PRIMARY FUNCTION: This individual must enjoy working with children. The employee will be learning skills to have a good understanding of the importance of guiding our "Children" through their growth and development. This position requires good judgment relating to a variety of routines in a childcare setting with children.

KEY ROLES (Essential Job Responsibilities): (Essential Job Responsibilities): Assists the lead teacher with daily classroom events and programs Assumes Childcare responsibilities in cleaning up the childcare setting providing a safe environment. Establishes a positive relationship with children Other duties vary.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Must be 18 years of age or older TB Test- Able to obtain before employed Immunizations: MMR, DTp, Influenza before employed. Infant CPR/First Aid Training, able to obtain once employed within 30 days Valid ID Must be able to pass a criminal background check before employment
